Did somebody say frothy milk with stenciled chocolate designs?
The Creative Café Barista Bar is so simple, fun, and safe to use! Bodhi followed the recipe cards to mix the powder base then pulled the lever until blended. Then frothed her milk! Once ready, she poured on top of the base mix for a tasty, foamy finish! Lastly, she used stencils and powder to create a stunning design for her drink! She was so happy with herself.
Set-Up
The Creative Cafe Bar is very simple to set up. You take it out of the box which is all recyclable and all you need is 3 AA batteries and a small cross-head screwdriver. As soon as you put the batteries in the way you go. You then literally pressed the button right at the front of the machine and pull the lever down which clips in and that brings down you’ll either to froth the milk and then that’s it it’s all done so simple.
Don’t forget your milk!
Bodhi is enjoying learning her early barista skills, s role-play and creating impressive latte art! She loves mixing her cold drinks with the strawberry and chocolate flavoured powder mixes, frothing them with the safe milk frothing mixer, and finishing them off with 1 out 3 dazzling stencil designs!
Recipes
Bodhi has milk intolerant so we used soya milk. If your child has an intolerance, dietary requirements, or beliefs, you can still have fun trying a range of various kinds of milk to suit your needs including regular, low-fat, cold lactose-free, almond, and soy milk.
Educational Benefits
The Creative Café Barista Bar is rewarding and engaging. Filling, scooping and pouring it has helped with Bodhi’s development of fine motor skills as well as using math concepts such as less, more, and volumes, such as 88 ml, half, and teaspoon. Making babyccino helped coordinate her hand movements with pouring and mixing.
Directions
Directions 1. Layer 1: Add 2 tsp. of chocolate or strawberry powder to Jug. Pour milk into Jug to Approx. 88ml fill-line (I also explained, half to Bodhi) give a quick stir with a spoon, then lower the lever for 30 seconds to mix. Pour into a cup and set aside. 2. Layer 2: Pour milk into Jug to Approx. 88ml fill-line. Lower the lever to froth for 45-60 seconds. Use a spoon or pour froth straight from Jug to top chocolate or Strawberry drink. 3. Place a leaf stencil on top of your cup and sift chocolate powder over the stencil to top the drink with a fun leaf design.
Cleaning/Tidy Up
Cleaning and tidying up The Creative Café Barista Bar is just as simple as setting it up. You pull your lever down to take off the frother and wash that along with your jug, spoons, stencils, shaker bottles and I would recommend washing your paper cups straight away too so they can be reused. Once everything is washed and clean, at the back of the machine there is a storage compartment where you can put your shakers in the spoons make sure your powders flavourings a sealed up and your jug will fit in the machine still and make sure it’s switched off and then it’s small and compact they can be just be put at the side ready for your next babyccino
